The United Nations Global Compact

May 10, 2017

Mylan has formalized our commitment to Global Social Responsibility by joining the U.N. Global Compact (UNGC), the world’s largest business community for sustainable development. In doing so, Mylan joins 9,000 other companies that have pledged to take a principled approach to doing business by aligning our strategy and operations with the organization's Ten Principles – on human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption.

We also are implementing a companywide Global Social Responsibility program and look forward in 2018 to communicating our progress against this commitment.

Mylan believes very strongly that companies like ours must take action to advance broader societal goals, use our business as a force for good and, in our case, deliver better health for a better world.

About the United Nations Global Compact

The United Nations Global Compact is a call to companies everywhere to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption, and to take action in support of UN goals and issues embodied in the Sustainable Development Goals. The UN Global Compact is a leadership platform for the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible corporate practices. Launched in 2000, it is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world, with more than 9,000 companies and 3,000 non-business signatories based in over 160 countries, and more than 70 Local Networks.
