Mylan supports flood relief efforts for those affected by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.
We have a strong tradition at Mylan of supporting communities in need, especially those where we live and work. That means being there when recent hurricanes displaced families from their homes in the U.S. and left many without access to needed medicines.
Mylan has donated about $4 million of medicines to the relief efforts in Texas and stands ready to help those bracing for Hurricane Irma’s impact. In addition, we are matching employee donations to SBP, a leading national disaster recovery nonprofit organization whose mission is to shrink the time between disaster and recovery. Last year, Mylan partnered with SBP to create Homes for West Virginia when flooding devastated areas of that state.
Our commitment to helping others is one of our core values, and we know that working together we can help those affected by these devastating storms recover and rebuild their lives. We firmly believe that by helping to improve people’s health and wellbeing, we are helping to create a better world.
