Rajiv Malik
Executive Vice President
Head of Global Technical Operations

Rajiv Malik is Mylan’s Executive Vice President in charge of Global Technical Operations. Mr. Malik served in a similar capacity for Mylan since January 2007 when the Company acquired a controlling stake in Matrix Laboratories Limited where he is CEO.

As Head of Global Technical Operations, Mr. Malik oversees the Company’s global research and development (R&D) centers and manufacturing and distribution units. He is responsible for enhancing and rationalizing Mylan’s global supply chain and expanded product pipeline as well as leveraging Matrix, one of the world’s largest suppliers of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API), across the Company.

Mr. Malik has worked for more than 24 years in the global generic pharmaceutical industry. In addition to his role at Mylan, Mr. Malik currently serves as Managing Director and CEO of Matrix. Prior to joining Matrix in 2005, he was Head of Global Development and Regulatory at Sandoz. He started his career in R&D at Ranbaxy Laboratories, rising to Head of Generics R&D.

Mr. Malik earned his master’s degree in pharmaceutical technology from Punjab University and has more than 60 process patents to his credit.
